Deadline is reporting that Tron: Legacy star Garrett Hedlund has been offered the lead role in the upcoming gritty 'Batman Begins-esque' reboot of Peter Pan. Boardwalk Empire’s Jack Huston and Ezra Miller from The Perks Of Being A Wallflower were also considered. This reboot is going to be a dark and gritty reboot of the classic Peter Pan story. The script is written by Arrow's Greg Berlanti and Jason Fuchs.
Hugh Jackman (The Wolverine) is rumored to play the title villain pirate Blackbeard.
