With a bunch of DC rumors today and Michael Douglas being penned to co-star in Ant-Man. Latino-Review has dropped a potentially huge scoop. According to their sources Johnny Depp (Pirates of the Carribein) is being considered for Sorcerer Supreme himself Doctor Strange!
A well-connected source informed me tonight that Johnny Depp has taken a meeting with Marvel to discuss taking on the role of Dr. Strange.They add that Johnny Depp is a comic book fan and has been itching to be apart of the Marvel universe! They also say if Depp agrees to the role the script will have a major rewrite since the current draft involved a young 30 year old Doctor Strange.
Again this is just a meeting not a done deal.
