Hugh Jackman isn't keen on returning for 'Wolverine 3' let alone 'X-Men: Apocalypse'

Today Vanity Fair had an interview with Hugh Jackman about the possibility on returning for Wolverine 3. Lets just say he isn't to keen on the idea. This interview took place before the announcement of X-Men: Apocalypse but even that would make it worse given the man is 50:
I don’t know whether or not I will do this next movie. I am really proud of this movie and I am excited to develop something with Jim Mangold from the beginning because that is a great ride. That’s exciting, to see what we come up with but I have a very high expectation of what it would need to be [for me to star in it] and if it doesn’t reach those, I won’t be doing it.
He does mention that they have talked about it though:
No there is not [a script] but Jim Mangold and I were literally on the phone last night talking about ideas. But there is no script and no writer yet so it’s a way off.
If Hugh Jackman doesn't want to return to the X-Franchise which actor could you see take over? Fan-Favorite alternate would be Tom Hardy (Warrior, The Dark Knight Rises)
