Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles co-creator Kevin Eastman, producer Scott Mednick (upcoming Ninja Turtles), and Randall Lobb (Turtle Power documentary) appeared for their panel at Stan Lee's Comikaze called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the Big Screen--World Premiere of TMNT Documentary
In a discussion mainly about the upcoming 94 minute documentary Turtle Power: The Definitive History of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which is to feature never-before-seen footage and interviews, a clip of the documentary was revealed. They also revealed that there soon may be an alternate cut of TMNT in the works! Finally, they talked more about the progress of Michael Bay's upcoming Ninja Turtles reboot starring Megan Fox as April O'Neil, one of the main characters.
In attempt to ease all the negative feedback from fans ever since Fox's casting was revealed, they reassured that Megan Fox had always been a huge fan of the Turtles and that "when you see her you will be pleased and amazed" and to "hold your opinions until you see it" and not to trust "all the rumors that you have heard." They also added that today's technology will greatly add to the quality of the film.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles hits US theaters on August 8th, 2014.
