Earlier today Sony co-chairman Amy Pascal revealed that Sony is considering making spin-off Spider-Man films in the future! A lot like Wolverine and X-Men movies. Now according to Deadline Sony Entertainment Chief Michael Lynton has revealed that scripts for these spin-offs are already in development:
"We do very much have the ambition about creating a bigger universe around Spider-Man. There are a number of scripts in the works."
He also let slip something very interesting.....Apparently Sony pictures has been working "Very Closely" with the people over at Disney/Marvel on their Spider-Man films also! This is actually pretty huge. Marvel and Sony's relationship seems a lot more smoother then Marvel and FOX's. Now before you freakout and think Spider-Man will now crossover with The Avengers....its not going to happen. But if they could knowledge each other that be great!
