Director Kevin Tancharoen Has Officially Left The 'Mortal Kombat' Movie

Today director Kevin Tancharoen announced via his Twitter he will be leaving the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie slated for a fall 2015 release. He is going to purse other creative opportunities. But what does this mean for his Web-Series?!

After 3 years of Kombat,I've decided to move on to other creative opportunities. I wish everyone involved in the movie big success. Thanks!

All I can say is.....Marvel pick up this guy ASAP! If some of you don't know Kevin happens to be the brother of Mariussa Tacharoen who works on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D with her husband Jed Whedon and brother-in-law Joss Whedon! Marvel needs to snatch this up and coming director up for a Daredevil or Heroes for Hire type film. What he has done with the Mortal Kombat web series is beyond amazing.
