Michael B. Jordan Talks FANTASTIC FOUR; "It Would Be Pretty Cool."

Michael B. Jordan is perhaps Hollywood's best up-and-coming actors. After cementing his place as a talent too watch after 2013's Fruitvale Station, Jordan has since been rumoured to star in several of the biggest upcoming blockbusters, some of those include Fantastic Four and Star Wars: Episode VII. Promoting his latest film, That Awkward Moment, Jordan appeared on David Letterman to discuss the upcoming comedy, but the questions asked in Jordan's interview didn't have much to do with the film he was promoting, but rather the films he is rumoured to be in. Earlier today a rumour popped up online confirming his role as 'Johnny Storm/The Human Torch' in Josh Trank's The Fantastic Four. Obviously, if Jordan is cast, neither Trank or Fox Studios have made the casting official, so as part of the contract, Jordan must, until officially announced, make it as if he is not in the film. Letterman asked Jordan if he would be in the new Fantastic Four to which Jordan replied, "It could happen. They don't have a Human Torch at the moment, but the project is still in the process of being greenlit." Letterman later pushed the question even more, by asking what the possibility of him appearing in Fantastic Four actually is. Jordan said, "I mean there's a chance I'll be in the film. I'm a big comic book guy, and the director, Josh Trank, is a big buddy of mine. We did Chronicle together which got me places. So if it happens... Maybe." After a few more questions about other projects, Letterman asked Jordan if he would be interested in playing The Human Torch, too which he replied, "It would be pretty cool. Yeah it would be pretty cool. Yeah, it would."

After the recent rumour saying that Jordan has got the role, and is auditioning with other actors to see which group has the best chemistry, it is pretty much confirmed that Jordan will nab the role of Johnny Storm/The Human Torch. While this casting is not the most obvious, it is a fantastic casting the more you think about it. Jordan is a fantastic young talent, and locking him in for a role before either Marvel or DC, is a stroke of genius on behalf of Fox and Josh Trank. Let us know how you feel of Michael B. Jordan's comments!
