Several days ago it was revealed by Global News Canada that David Ayer's upcoming Suicide Squad would start filming April 2015 in Pinewood Toronto to meet it's 2016 release date. Well, while talking about this small tidbit Mike Messina of Mike The Film Guy dropped a small casting tidbit that Fantastic Four and Scandal star Kerry Washington is being eyed by DC to play "The Wall" herself Amanda Waller!
Now while this is nothing more then a rumor at this point. What should be taken away from here is that Amanda Waller does indeed seem to be in the film even though we haven't had much of any information about her from the trades. Washington has been at the top of many fans lists for the role as well as How To Get Away With Murder star Voila Davis. This would be the fourth live-action incarnation of the character following Smallville, Arrow and 2011's Green Lantern.
Again, take with a grain of salt until a trade site corroborates the story...
