Harley Quinn has been a fan favorite member of the Suicide Squad in The New 52. She however was absent from Justin Marks original Suicide Squad screenplay written last year but now thanks to director David Ayer she is back in! According to Collider The Wolf of Wall Street star Margot Robbie (Who has been long rumored for the movie) has officially signed on to play The Joker's psychotic girlfriend Harley Quinn for DC Comics upcoming super villain team-up Suicide Squad.. This comes only days after it was reported that Dallas Buyers Club star Jared Leto is circling the role of The Joker himself.
If you seen her in Wolf of Wall Street you know she can pull off that distinct Long Island accent that we know and love from the cartoons and video games. Others rumored for the project include Will Smith and Tom Hardy in unspecified roles. They will join Jesse Eisenberg who will reprise his role of Lex Luthor in the film. It is unknown if A.R.U.G.U.S commander Amanda Waller will appear in the film.
