Variety is reporting that Idris Elba has dropped out of contention for the role of a Merlin type character in Guy Richies upcoming Knights of the Roundtable: King Arthur. They go onto reveal that Blood Diamond & Guardians of the Galaxy star Djimon Hounsou has begun talks to play the part. He would join Charie Hunnum who is set to play Arthur himself and Jude Law who is in talks to play the villain.
