Is Warner Brothers Looking at These Female Directors to Helm 'Wonder Woman'?

Yesterday, The Hollywood Reporter ran a piece stating that Warner Brothers is actively trying to pursue a female director to helm the first female lead superhero movie Wonder Woman starring Gal Gadot. Well, now Forbes is claiming to have some inside information on what directors the studio is looking at:
Catherine Hardwicke (Twilight), Mimi Leder (Deep Impact), Karyn Kusama (Girlfight), and Julie Taymor (Spider-Man: Turn off the Dark). Also looking at TV directors Michelle MacLaren (Game of Thrones) and Tricia Brook (The Walking Dead). Lastly, Oscar-Winner and Fan Favorite Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker, Zero Dark Thirty) is said to be in the mix.
They do go onto say Bigelow, Leder, Hardwicke and MacLaren are the frontrunners WB really wants to go after, But it should be noted that Kathryn Bigelow while being a great director turned down several comic book movie opportunity's in the past; most recently The Amazing Spider-Man. So don't get your hopes up that she will stray from her gritty modern war films for a mythical superhero type movie any time soon.
