Ben McKenzie, who plays a young James Gordon in Fox's Gotham series, is using instagram to document his recover from a head injury suffered on set on Friday, the day of the actor's birthday.
McKenzie, 36, injured himself in a "fight sequence gone awry" ramming his head into a concrete pillar.
He posted this picture on Instagram two days ago. Ouch!
Lucky for Gotham city, McKenzie has returned to the set.
Gotham is scheduled to premier on Fox on September 22nd.
