Longtime screenwriter Alex Kurtzman who's worked on such films like Transformers, Star Trek and most recently The Amazing Spider-Man 2 as well as the upcoming spin-off Venom has created a brand new production company. Partnered with Universal Studios Kurtzman has debuted Secret Hideout that will create "developing compelling filmmaker-driven projects and deeper storytelling narratives with an eye towards franchise and multi-quadrant films."
This deal is no doubt connected to Alex Kurtzman shoehorning the upcoming Universal Monsters Cinematic Universe that will bring classic monsters like Dracula, Frankenstein and Wolfman together in a crossover universe.
