I think a lot of fans were breathing a sigh of relief when Petoin Reed tweeted that shooting for Ant-Man had begun today. It goes without saying that this film has been in development hell and a lot of people are very skeptical about this property. Regardless, we can only find out next year how the film will resonate with fans and whether it'll be good or not.
Marvel has issued a full press release with both the full cast list and synopsis included. Recent significant additions are John Slattery as Howard Stark (previously seen in Iron Man 2) and the rapper T.I who's role in unknown for now. Check it out below.
Marvel Studios began principal photography today in San Francisco, California, on its newest Super Hero franchise Marvel’s “Ant-Man.” The film brings one of Marvel comics’ original founding members of The Avengers into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
