Today, The Wrap is reporting that IDW Comics The Shunned One is becoming a live-action film. The Coalition Group has hired Grizzly writer Jack Reher to pen the script. Alan Robert and Wasted Time Entertainment are looking to co-produce the film alongside Radical Studios who produced Oblivion and Hercules.
“The Shunned One centers on an angel of death who goes rogue after refusing to take innocent human lives. His actions alter balance in the universe, causing a chain reaction of unforeseen disasters. As a result, a pack of vengeful death angels are sent down to hunt him. He must hide amongst the humans while trying to undo the damage he's done.”The comic will be released later this year...
