Whilst there has been various posters and images, footage of George Miller's up coming Mad Max film was finally unveiled at this year's San Diego comic con. Schmoes Know provided a rough description of the footage that was screened. Read it down below...
"It’s starts with a post apocalyptic world, naturally, and we slowly take in a man standing with his back to us… As he turns, t’s revealed to be Tom Hardy as Max next to his car. A two headed lizard walks near his foot and Max smashes it with his foot. Something roars in the distance and startles Max, he grabs his things and jumps in his car – driving off into the wasteland. He is followed by a bunch of mutant looking mother-f’ers, and they give chase – ultimately catching Mad Max and throwing him in a prison, but like no prison we’ve ever seen.
A weird looking dude with a gas mask of sorts – metal tubing snaking down his nose, long hair and sounding like a classic villain looks and talks to Max in the prison. We cut to Charlize Theron sporting a crazy looking, metal arm. She looks ragged yet tough as nails. Her eyes tortured yet full of rage and ready to fight– CUT TO - A badass chase scene that rips and roars over the wasteland. They head right into the biggest sandstorm you’ve ever seen, tornadoes and lightning strikes everywhere! And Max is control.
He’s ripping his car through the fury, bodies and cars are flying everywhere. Max looks to be outnumbered when out of nowhere, Charlize Theron roars in and saves him. The trailer ends with Charlize asking who his name is…
