Yesterday, several reports from a non-trades website revealed that We're the Millers director Rawson Thruber had officially passed on Ant-Man. Well, that rumor has since be debunked from several news outlets and that director is still well in the running for the gig. Deadline also adds that Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Neighbors director Nicholas Stoller as well as Goon director Michael Dowse are also being looked at as a possible replacement for Edgar Wright as director.
This is definitely turning out to be one of the biggest hurdles Marvel has ever faced as a studio. Again, Deadline also adds that it seems to be dead silent over there when it comes to the next director.
