Today Deadline reported that FOX is moving forward with a sequel to the sleeper hit for Chronicle. The first movie originally stared Dane DeHaan, Alex Russell, and Michael B. Jordan as as a group of teenagers who find an alien rock that gives them all telekinesis. The movie was originally directed by Josh Trank (Who has moved onto direct Fantastic Four) and originally written by Max Landis. It was also a breathe of fresh air brought back to the POV or "Found Footage" type movie genre.
Never-the-less FOX is moving past Landis and has hired scribe Jack Stanley to pen the sequel.
