Master Chief has been itching for a live-action movie since the first game. Great directors like Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) and Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium) have been attached but this video game adaption has always been left in development hell. Now Production Weekly has updated their website with a 'Untitled HALO Project' and apparently Ridley Scott (Prometheus) is attached:
When Jim Vejvoda of IGN Movies asked about this Production Weekly replied in a tweet:
If we know anything is that Prometheus CGI was beyond beautiful and could bring Halo to life. They also add that Paul Scheuring (Prison Break) is the scribe on the film. Like they state above very little is known on this project at the moment.
