Academy Award winning composer, Hans Zimmer, most known for his work on Christopher Nolan's Dark Knight Trilogy was announced in November of 2013 too be scoring this summer's The Amazing Spider-Man 2. In an interview with Omaze, Zimmer discusses what it was like to score one of the year's biggest releases, Zimmer explains that, "Peter Parker is young, and the music he listens to would be different too that of Batman and that there should be a level of playfulness about the music he listens to." It also seems that this time around we will be getting a much more 'upbeat' score, while The Amazing Spider-Man had a very mellow sounding score. It also seems that the music heard on the official website will indeed be the main theme for the new film. You can watch the full interview below!
