The Wrap has exclusively learned that Jesse Pleamons (Breaking Bad, Battleship) is currently the front runner for the lead in Star Wars: Episode VII. Apparently his first audition was so well received he is being flown back in for a personal audition with JJ Abrams himself.
The site doesn't know which character he will be playing (Recent reports suggest none of the Expanded Universe will be used) but he does resemble Mark Hamill's look after all. Hamill, Fisher and Ford are also expected to return!
Filming is rumored to begin April 22nd with it hitting Theaters Winter 2015
