Today it was announced via Deadline that Zero Dark Thirty star Jason Clarke has been in talks to play John Connor in the upcoming Terminator reboot. After his breakout role in Zero Dark Thirty and his supporting roles in White House Down and The Great Gatsby its no surprise he was sought after for the role. He will also appear in next years Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.
With Emile Clarke (Game of Thrones) and Garrett Hedlund (Tron: Legacy) in the running for young Sarah Connor and Kyle Reese. But nothing has been announced. Obviously the way older John Connor (Jason Clarke) will be time traveling to co-exist in the same world alongside his younger mother Sarah Connor (Emile Clark).Think Back to the Future. The question is the film set in the 70s or 80s?
