Actor Grant Harvey Campaigns for a 'Assassins Creed' Role

Since the news on Assassin's Creed has been slow got a new little tidbit. TV Actor Grant Harvey has official put his name out there for the Assassin's Creed movie. Now before you freak out and say "But Micheal Fassbender is going to star!" I'd like to remind you there are multiple Assassin's through out the video game series. Harvey has really been in many major films but has a long history in TV including The Secret Life of an American Teenager via IMDB.

The main character that is actually in each video game is Desmond Miles a young bartender abducted by Abstergo and tested on. Its his memories that we learn of the Assassin's Altair, Ezio Auditore, Edward Kenway and Connor.

When I asked Harvey if he would rather play Desmond Miles he answered "I'll take it!". Now I've never thought for a second Micheal Fassbender would be Desmond Miles who is only book-end character in each game. He is most likely Altair the very first assassin.
