After the fallout between Marvel and Edgar Wright many director names popped up in regards to directing Ant-Man. One of whom was Step Brothers & The Other Guys director Adam McKay. Adam McKay quickly took to Twitter to announce while he is a huge Marvel film his slate is simply to full to take on another project so the directors chair eventually went to director Peyton Reed. However Marvel did hire Adam McKay along with star Paul Rudd to rework Edgar Wright & Joe Cornish's original Ant-Man script.
Well today Adam McKay spoke with CraveOnline to reveal that talks between Marvel and himself are going on for a future Marvel film for him to possibly direct!
"I just did a big rewrite on Ant-Man with Paul Rudd and had such a great time working with [Marvel] that we’re kicking around ideas. But yeah, maybe I would take on one of the characters so we haven’t locked in anything, but discussions are definitely going on."With Marvel nabbing Step Brothers, Anchorman and The Other Guys director Adam McKay it might be hind time DC grabs 22 Jump Street & The LEGO Movie directors Chris Miller & Phillp Lord!
