Today, it was announced that the popular game Dead Rising is expected to get the live-action movie treatment. Dead Rising will follow in the footsteps of Dawn of the Dead and The Walking Dead in terms of braining the always lovable zombies to the big screen.
The production company Contradiction Films which was behind the web-series Mortal Kombat: Legacy is also helping produce the film. Screenwriters Tim Carter and Lorenzo di Bonaventure have been hired to pen the script:
