Deadline got the scoop on Assassin's Creed the movie's progress. Today they are reporting that star Michael Fassbender may team up with his Macbeth director Justin Kurzel in this epic video game adaption. Last we heard Safe House director Daniel Espinosa was being looked at as well.
No offer has been formally made to Justin Kurzel but Ubisoft is eager to get this film off the ground as well as Splinter Cell starring Tom Hardy and directed by Doug Liman. This will be the first two in a slew of upcoming video game adaptions coming out from Ubisoft. Which include Michael Bay's Ghost Recon. As well as Zombieland scribes Rhett Reese & Paul Wernick tackling Watch Dogs.
