Variety is reporting that EuropaCorp is rebooting The Transporter franchise. This also comes off the announcement of The Transporter TV Series on TNT. Game of Thrones star Ed Skrein will take over the role of Frank Martin.
EuropaCorp CEO Christophe Lambert added on the casting:
“We searched everywhere to find a fresh face who had the potential to become an action movie star and we’ve found the right match with Ed Skrein, who’s not only a great actor but also has enough charisma and physical stamina to play Frank Martin (the ‘Transporter’s’ leading role) with brio,”Lastly the plot of the reboot is kept under wraps but The Transporter will once again find himself back in the French Riviera.
