With all the buzz surrounding Guardians of the Galaxy and to a lesser extent Fantastic Four another bit of fun casting news dropped. This basically confirms Doctor Strange for Phase III. The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that several directors are going to meet or has already met with Marvel regarding sorcerer supreme Doctor Strange!
The directors include Mark Andrews (Brave) Nikolaj Arcel (A Royal Affair) Dean Israelite (Welcome to Yesterday) and Jonathan Levine (Warm Bodies)
Kung-Fu Panda scribes Jon Aibel and Glenn Berger are being looked at to pen the script.
Last we heard rumors that Mad Men star Jon Hamm was talking to Marvel about Doctor Strange. Also, Benedict Cumberbatch has been a fan favorite for a very long time.
