Producer Matthew Vaughn Says "The Fantastic Four is NOT a comedy"

Last we heard they finally have cast their first family in Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B Jordan and Jamie Bell. The film will be directed by Chronicle director Josh Trank and will be almost a decade since Marvels first family took on the Silver Surfer the the previous film.

Now Empire Magazine has sat down with Kick-Ass and X-Men: First Class director Matthew Vaughn on The Fantastic Four which he is also serving a producer. He reiterates that this is a complete reboot and not a fun family comedy like in Tim Story's films:
"Its a total reboot, that's for sure. It's got nothing to do with the other bloody ones. It's not stretchy guy and a guy running around in rock that looks like it's made of polystyrene. And its not a comedy."
Could this mean that FOX is indeed going to make The Thing motion capture like what Marvel did with The Hulk?

The Fantastic Four hits June 2015
