Last month it was rumored that Joseph Gordon-Levitt was somehow being looked at for David Goyers Sandman. Now Deadline confirms that Gordon-Levitt will star and direct! A writer is being looked for:
"The Sandman series shifts between horror and fantasy, and the central character is Morpheus, the personification of dreams. After being held captive 70 years, Morpheus escapes, gains revenge and rebuilds his crumbling kingdom while trying to adapt to the times."This means that Joseph Gordan Levitt won't be either Ant-Man or Doctor Strange for Marvel. With him being rumored for both roles in the past.
